Dental Implants in Hackensack

Dental implants are prosthetic replacement teeth that have the potential to last for an entire lifetime. Each titanium root is naturally fused into the jaw by new bone growth, securing it in place as well as strengthening the bone.

Dental implants are so strong, that they can support more weight than even the healthiest natural teeth. That’s why we frequently recommend them for replacing teeth instead of other options like bridges, partials, or dentures.

Permanent, New Teeth

Dr. Cibischino partners with oral surgeons in the placement of the dental implant prosthesis. Then, we provide the permanent fixed restoration such as:

Individual Porcelain Crowns

Fixed Dental Bridges

Full Mouth Dentures

The number of dental implants you need will vary, depending on how many teeth you are replacing and the type of prosthesis you choose. Individual implants can support a permanent porcelain crown, while as few as 4 implant roots may be able to anchor a permanent denture. Because of the durability of these restorations, very few are needed to replace several teeth.

When properly cared for, an implant can last for the remaining lifespan of our patients. In fact, implants have the highest success rating of any restoration used in dentistry!

Dental Implant Evaluations

During your dental implant evaluation, Dr. Cibischino will examine your oral anatomy, dental health, and bone density to determine whether or not you are a candidate for implants.

If you suffer from rough tooth surface, sensitivity to certain types of drinks or food particles getting stuck deep inside your teeth, you may need cosmetic dental fillings to restore your teeth back to their old structure.
